Summary
Again the weatherman warned of bad weather coming for this Sunday afternoon event and once again we enjoyed a beautiful hot day with not a single drop of rain to speak of. Tomorrow will be the first full day of summer and it really felt like it today with temps in the high 20s and a strong hot sun that kept us in need of continuous hydration. Today was the last day of qualifying for the first ever ClubEG Intersectional teams in our new OVGA district and we offer our congrats to all that made their respective teams. The Men go at the Gatineau July 12th, Women on July 19th at the Meadows and the Men's Senior team will come together on September 8th at the Gatineau. Play well and do ClubEG proud!

PriorJock is in his rookie season on Tour and was playing in his 9th career event today at the Creek. He defends against NoCents and Sunshine to add four points to his stats along with three birdies and a near albatross that turned into a four inch tap in eagle on the 4th hole, par 5. The eagle was good for the skin along with the three birdies that were back to back to back as he finished the front nine and continued the streak of birds into the back. PriorJock also records enough Stableford points to launch him into the top qualifying spot for the Mens Intersectional Team. Congrats ! |

Another fine showing by Crenshaw who defends his top 30 rank against Blue, Happy and BigTee adding six point to his stats. No birdies, just some solid play today and he was the only Slammer in the field to par the long 5th hole, par 4 which netted him the skin. Nice ! |

This was a unanimous 19th hole group decision that Kricket be named as a star for his outstanding performance on the course today...in particular the stellar back nine that this Slammer threw down. He circled a bird on his match play card, defended his rank against Sunshine and for the first time in their match up history, Kricket took down NoCents and on the 17th ! Well done sir !! |
