NEWS FLASH: IRON MAIDEN has a hole in one at Stonebridge today during a non Slammer round! CONGRATULATIONS IRON MAIDEN!! Such a great milestone!! Your happiness is the Slammer family happiness. The Slammer hole in one pot is still up for grabs!!

Summary
Great golf in a prime location on your doorstep in Ottawa. This is what the new private sector operators of Pine View can boost about. A location where many can work hard in the morning and then reward themselves by taking the afternoon off from work and golf the rest of the day with little or no commute. And currently, Pine View is in top notch summer condition with excellent fairways and true and quick greens. Several seasons ago, Pine View had the reputation of having rock hard fairways in the summer, slow greens, a staff that didn't care and a 19th hole with poor food and little service such that many golfers went to the Oak across the street. But no longer as the new Pine View is earning a solid reputation as the place to golf with great conditions if you are taking the afternoon off and want to be home for dinner. It was so busy today, that it was difficult to find a parking spot. The Slammer Tour, on its regular Thursday stop at Pine View, is discovering this Ottawa golf gem. Fairway and greens were in outstanding condition, the service from proshop to 19th hole was top notch and the Slammers enjoyed all aspect of this gem. Thank you Slammers for this great event at this great location.

	This Slammer came to play match play Slammer golf today. Nivlac, takes 1st star honours, as he goes 2-0-1 taking out Rulz and GoTee and halves the match with Ozzie. He wins his TC A match over Rulz, and has 1 birdie, 1 skin and 2 doggies. Yes sirree, Nivlac is the 1st star and the big bones winner. Congrats!!
	BogeyMan
	The second star demonstrates how is game is slowly improving over the course of the season. He goes 3-0-0 with wins over KidsClub, Biscuit Oshumka and Duffy and he is well below his scoring medium. Great job!!
	Blue
	This youngish looking Slammer has a great round today as he goes undefeated knocking out ToothFairy, PointZero and Ehmcee. Solid, solid, solid match play golf as breaks Ehmcee's win streak which now stands at 9 wins and 1 loss. Great round, Blue!!
