Summary
A great day for Slamming as the light breeze on this hot day made the course very manageable and enjoyable to walk. Teeing off on #1 on the other side of the ditch made this par 5 into a temporary par 4 and a nice way to start off the round. Lots of Slammers played very well today with three quarters of them shooting below there median. Solid play for the majority translated into lots of very close and competitive matches as over half of the matches were determined on the 17th or 18th hole. A competitive field, some great ball striking, enjoyable weather, good course conditions and a great bunch of Slammers. Gracias por el día, mis compañeros amigos. Thanks for the day my fellow Slammers!

How do we describe our 1st star today? Thats a hard one but let me focus on his Slammer performance. He goes 3-0-0 and this B class Slammer takes down 2 A class Slammers with a solid A class performance. Nice!! And he has a birdie and he has a 3 dog night or should I say a 3 dog day!! Correcto mundo!! GoTee has his irons in the groove as he scores 3, yes 3, dogs in a field of 19 playing Slammers. He jumps from 2nd in the season long Doggie race to numero uno with 30 for the season so far. Yes sirreee, this just might be the year of the GoAt!! Congrats on an outstanding performance!!
Flagondry
And our 2nd star is a vet Slammer with a new and improved game. Flagondry has a birdie, a skin and is undefeated today. New and improved cause his scoring median is 88 but he shoots 11 below his scoring median and its the second week in a row he scores in the 70s. This matches his Slammer Tour career best. EAGLE alert! Yes Flagondry has an EAGLE today on hole 10. Great ball striking, Flagondry!! and CONGRATULATIONS!!
Big Guy
This unpretentious Slammer goes to business in a foursome of equals solidly defending his rank. Yes, our 3rd star, Big Guy comes out undefeated with a record of 2-0-1 taking out Duffy, Grumpy and is all square with Mulder. He matches his best round of the season which his best in 23 Slammer events and he shoots an amazing 13 below his scoring median and has a birdie to boot. Thats a B class score and a B class performance! Well done, Big Guy, and CONGRATULATIONS!
