POP: 1st group (Intruder, Happy, BogeyMan and Coach Vern) sets a blisterin pace and finish in 3 hrs 58 minutes while all other groups finish by 4 hrs 15. Nice pace of play since he starter said the front should be finish in 2 hrs 10 and the back in 2 hrs 20. Well done Slammers!!

MILESTONE: Intruder played his 100th career event today making him the 60th Slammer to play 100 events. Outstanding!!

CULLIGAN DOGGIES: Each pup was worth 20 bones and they were won by Shark (#3 @23'), Babz (#5 @10'), ZenGirl (#7 @42'), Ozzie (#14 @5') and Happy (#16 @24'). Excellent Shootin!!

Summary
Today featured Tour Championship (TC) Matches galore at the Home of the Commish's Cup, Casselview. Six TC Matches in all highlighted the event with 2 from the Mixed Division, 2 from the Seniors and 2 representing the C division. How sweet is that. In fact, TC Matches were so popular today that only 4 Slammers were not playing in TC Matches and the event was sold out when the lottery closed. TC Matches tend to show case match play golf strategy and highlights performances since a win means you advance to the next round of this season long match play tournament. A wonderful day for match play Slammer golf as the golf gods blessed us with summer weather and late spring golf conditions. Add to this the great service provided by Casselview all summed up to be an outstanding day to be Slammin' with your buds! Thanks for making this a great day, my fellow Slammers and Slammettes!

At first, it couldn't be determined which one from this mixed pair of Babz and T-Bird was the anchor. Well based on today's performance Babz played her way into the anchor seat today as she goes undefeated and has a solid 18 holes of match play. This earns her 2nd star acclaim. She also registers 2 birds, 1 skins and 1 dog. Well done! |

The 3rd star, Happy, has not been seen at Slammer events this season till today...and he makes his mark as he goes 3-0-0 taking out Intruder, BogeyMan and Coach Vern. He has a bird, a dog and a skin. He makes a big leap on the Slammer ladder from 207 to the rank of 45 plus. Outstanding! |
