Summary
Hautes Plaines is truly a unique playing experience and this Graham Cooke designed ClubLink course has "the most exciting topography of any club in the National Capital Region". The tree-lined fairways and numerous bunkers challenge players to think strategically and take risks. The 6th green offers an incredible panoramic view of both Cities and most of us spent a great deal of time on that hole trying to figure out where to place our tee shots and then making the decision whether to lay up or go for the green depending on where our tee shots actually came to rest. Yes, the hole is only 295 yards (215 yards from the reds). That just about describes most of our day. Hautes Plaines was incredible and we can't wait to visit again to test the course knowledge we acquired today.

The year of the GoaT continues for this Slammer that everyone was talking about on the 19th hole....Talking about how he got dogs and birds and skins, oh my! Well, he did bag a couple of doggies and the one bird he circled on his match play card did stand up for the skin. GoTee recorded the upset wins against all that were previously ranked above him starting with Shteeme, then FingZ and finally landing in the top 5 with the win over PointZero. In addition, the win over FingZ gave him the pass to the sweet sixteen in the TC Bs. Congrats ! |

HaleStorm did her learning (and teaching according to Supersy) outside of the classroom today and this Slammette showed 'em just what a whirlwind of a storm she really is defending against Stevie Ray and Supersy and recording the upset against IronMaiden. A solid round by this junior who really knows how to play with the big kids ! Well done! |

BigGuy recorded two wins and moved up over 60 spots in the Slammer ranks and hopefully had big pockets to take home all the bones he earned with the trifecta on the second par three of the day. Sometimes it only takes one shot to make a round and this shot into the green on #7 was stuck to three feet and he made the putt for the bird that held for the skin. Nice ! |
