CULLIGAN DOGGIES: All 5 puppies were claimed today with none left at the pound. Doggie winners are Metro (#3@ 15ft), Fingz (#8 @5ft and #12 @4ft), Malone (#10 @2ft) and Shark (#16 @6ft. Doggies were worth 8 bones each. Nice job!!

DYNAMIC CHIRO & PHYSIO SKINS: 6 skins today worth 6 bones a pop. Taking home skin bones are Malone with 2, Fingz with 2, and Shark with 2. This was a triple daily double. Outstanding!!

Summary
The Slammer Tour went to the Gatineau Golf Club for the 1st time in this golf season. A perennial favorite of the Tour, Gatineau did not disappoint today with its fast greens and great condition. The wind played a few tricks on the Slammers as club selection was strategically important but most Slammer rose to the occasion and played well. A nice early morning event so close to downtown. Thanks Slammers for a great event and we looked forward to returning soon!

The wizard of Brockville drives to Gatineau from Brockville to earn 1st star status today. What a match play round he has today winning all his matches and jumping up the Slammer ladder from 72 to the 14th spot. He may be short in distance but he is always on the fairway away from trouble. Yes he looks like Harry Potter and he was working magic with his flat stick. What a wizard as he registers his lowest Slammer career score in his 6 year playing the Slammer Tour. Congratulations and a nice warmup to the Brockville Challenge! |
