Summary
It was good to see a very full parking lot upon arrival. This was a busy day for our friends at Metcalfe. They were all seen. First was Radar Rob, then Dave was behind the counter. Gaspur & Richard hardly had time to stop and punch anything in the computer. There was Marshall Gary, who always listens to Grumpy talking about pace. He was right there when we lost the group ahead of us for the only time all day (hey Hopper - how many of those were bad decisions?) on hole eleven. If you haven't been out to Metcalfe yet - YOU JUST HAVE TO! Of course like all of the area courses the ash borer disease has taken it's toll, but many golfers that are only interested in beating the course, will be pleased at the fact of a few missing BIG ONES (fourth hole).
