Summary
One week from today many of us will be at Casselview GC waiting for the results to be tallied to crown the winner of the 10th annual Commish's Cup. And as exciting as that is the build up to this grand event is as big. Many players were out this long weekend trying to clinch a spot on their regional team ... some have succeeded, some will before the end of event play tomorrow...and some will now have to hope for a captain's pick...but there are often spots for everyone who want to play. Contact Malone if you are interested and there will most likely be spots on either visiting teams or the opportunity to be poached by a rival captain. Let the fun begin !

	Pickle
	Pickle has been a growing force on Tour and today shows that McGoop will soon have some serious competition for that #1 rank that he has rightfully "owned" for the better part of his Slammer career. Has anyone ever seen those cat videos where a cucumber is placed behind them and they literally freak? I encourage everyone to go watch a few of those... Sorry, back to First Star business. Pickle defends against Hen and records the upset wins over Shortstack and then F6Noob...which was also for the TC "A" win. This puts him in the sweet 16 to play against Chilly in the next round. One birdie was all he needed to get one fifth of the skins pot and round out an excellent day ! The only big question left...Will he play for Team West or Team Broker4Tickets? I'd pick him :) - Congrats!
	Steamer
	Steamer came out to secure his spot on Team East, a team he has played with and won on in 2010 and 2011. Three upset wins were pocketed when all was said and done...taking down springlakes, Steel Crazy and IronMaiden...and Steamer now sits as #3 on the Slammer totem pole. One bird, one skin. Nice!
	RonBow
	RonBow was sporting a lovely shade of mauve...of course...with his honey Purple Crush...I mean Orange Crush as they took on and won the mixed TC "B" against Stevie Ray and MsDemeanor. RonBow wins his match against Stevie Ray and betters his lifetime match up to 4-2-0. One bird, one skin and a doggie top off an great day ! Well done !
