PACE OF PLAY: It was a slow day. Due to a small 9 hole tournament, the front 9 took 2hrs and 50 mins and 18 was completed in 5 hours, the slowest Slammer Tour event at PineView in the last two years of Thursdays. Not Good!!

QUICKSNAP DOGGIE REPORT: 4 of the 5 par 3s had puppies today with each worth $18. Doggie winners are Slinky(#3 @ 15ft), DJD (#12 @10ft), PapaMalone (#14 @10ft) and Shananagan (#16 @10ft)! GREAT!!

BROKER4TICKETS SKINS: It was a 4 skin day each worth 18 bones and each won with a birdie or better. Winners are Slinky, SilverFox (eagle), Gru, and DJD. SUPER!!

Summary
The weather was superb, the course is in outstanding condition from tee to green and a great bunch of Slammers are some of the essential ingredients for a very enjoyable and scorable Slammer event. The Slammers took advantage of these conditions to enjoy match play golf as half the matches were successful defences and the other half upsets. Several personal season's best today showing up on the scorecards. And the Slammers love these par 5s as 14 birdies and 1 eagle out of 18 birds/eagles were recorded on the par 5s. And those summertime early evenings on the 19th hole patio tops off a summer Slammer event. Another very enjoyable day of Slammin' with our fellow Slammers. Thank you!! Your OC...KC.

WOW WOW is the way to describe the performance of Gru, the 1st star. He has match play wins over Bookie, Tesla and DJD. He had a personal birdie fest as he registers 4 of them with one taking home a skin. He has his low round of the Slammer season, his low in the last 55 events and breaks that 80 barrier. For his WOW WOW performance he takes home that surprise prize!! |
