Summary
Today was one of those days we used to live for as children. It was in the upper 20s or maybe even 30 degrees. it was sunny. There was a light breeze. The blue sky was dotted with a few wispy clouds and the best part was 8 Slammers made their way to Renfrew to play one of my favourite courses. Dragonfly has it all. Challenging holes, water, tough tree lines, elevation changes. Blind shots over windmills to elevated greens and a great par 3 eighteenth with the teeblock overlooking a green at least 75 feet below surrounded by water on three sides and protected by two bunkers. In the end we had a Sr. TC Match that went to the 16th hole and pints around the 19th hole. Just the way an August long weekend round of golf should be. Thanks Bill and team for treating us Slammers so well. You have a great golf course and great staff. And I know I point this out each time I OC here, but they even have a Slammer Burger platter on the menu!! ........................... Mulder Out

ProZee lived up to the first half of his name today. Not only did he go undefeated with a 2-0-1 record, but he won his Sr. TC match putting him the Elite 8. He has won both the A and B titles in the past so we know he can handle the pressure of good competitive match play. He also netted 3 birdies, with one being good enough for a skin. Awesome job and good luck in the next TC round. You are truly a gentleman and I appreciated all your positivity on the course today. |

T-Bird is quickly becoming a regular on the three star circuit. Good news. Daddy isn't taking him away so we can still have fun fun fun!! Today he went 3-0, shooting 4 below his median. He also snagged 3 birdies with two being good enough for skins. Stupendous!! |

You're too short...these ones must be going over your head. <end foghorn leghorn voice> Not only is he the number one provider of unquotables, but he is quickly earning a position as a top dog catcher. He netted two today while going 2-1 an that's good enough to be our third star. Great job on the par threes Scrazy!! |
