POP: The 1st group, a threesome with 2 in carts, sets a blistering pace of 3 hrs and 30 minutes while the foursome, all walking with push carts and umbrellas, come in under the course time par. Great pace!

Summary
It was a hot day as the mercury reached the low 30s with the humidex reaching the upper 30s. Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate and seek shade when possible was the name of game as 7 Slammers took to the field. There was hardly anyone in the parking lot and on the course. The greens are outstanding and with some tricking pin placements making putting challenging for some. Lots of successful match play defences. And the 19th hole was an oasis retreat after a hot round of golf. Thank you my fellow Slammers for an enjoyable event at PineView. Your OC, KC.

Pouf had a magical day with his sticks. He takes out P-Bomb and wins his TC Seniors match over MeekaGolf and he does this on or before the 15th hole. Working magic, Pouf has 3 birds, 1 skins, 1 dog and shoots 1 over. Outstanding!! |
