Summary
It has been super hot in the Capital the last few weeks and the Slammers took full advantage of a beautiful day here at Stonebridge. Humidex was showing another day in the mid 30s so lots of water, sunscreen and cart umbrellas were out today. Always a popular Tuesday late afternoon venue…Stonebridge hosted six full groups of Slammers today. The wind was strong and straight in our faces on the first hole which translated into lots of water avoidance shots that went far left...with more of the same on the second hole. But the rest of the day the winds seem to help and made for some interesting shots and long drives. The patio has new furniture that looks great and we didn’t have to line the group sheets with a support underneath today as the tables are solid now … no more holes for pencils to push through. A trivial notable but if you’ve ever tried to fill in the group summary sheet on the patio at Stonebridge you know what I mean. Have a great rest of the week Slammers, IronMaiden.

P-Bomb had taken a little break from the Tour but he's back and playing well and today he defends against Old Spice going all square and F6Noob with the win... and with the upset win over Skeeter takes a top 15 rank on the Slammer totem pole. One good shot into the 15th...the bird was cut off but he takes home the dog to top off a great day, congrats ! |

Intruder just returned from a holiday out East to visit the Home of his heart Cape Breton...and comes back refreshed as he defends against T-Bone, BearCat and Stevie Ray. Two birds were circled on his match play card and one holds for the skin on the tough fourth hole that had an ultra forward pin tucked close to the right bunkers. Well done ! |

Three more wins under his belt today with the defence against his dad DEBT and two upset wins over Pozzo and Grumpy to move him ...get this...891 spots up the ranks! Keep up the great playing ! |
