Summary
Several Slammers had bailed due to the possibility of rain as outlined in earlier weather forecasts. But this morning the new forecast called for rain after 6PM and the forecaster was right. Not a drop of rain while we were golfing. A foursome of Slammers went to enjoy a beautiful fall day of golf on a course that is in outstanding condition. Some tricky pin placements, quick greens and more than usual roll on the greens made approach shots and putting an excellent adventure. We enjoyed a great day of Slammin' in dry conditions. The one and only star at today's event, Slinky, turns in an excellent performance. He goes undefeated with wins over Shananagan, Chilly and KidsClub, registers 2 birdies and takes home the only two dogs of the day. On top of that Slinky jumps into the top 20 and wins his TC Seniors match over Chilly. Excellent performance, Slinky! |
