Summary
It was one of those mizzle days (mistlike droplets) where it didn't rain but there was enough light precipatation in the air to irritate a golfer. And it seemed to affect some Slammers' golf game but not others. We played lift, clean and place on your own fairways to get an upper hand on mother nature. Did it make a difference? I don't think so. But the mizzle may have helped on the greens where you could see putt lines and breaks by previous putts on the moisture covered greens. French Hooligan, Princess and Soulsweeper jumped in this morning so that we could play skins and to make the event "full" and we thank you for this. Overall an enjoyable day on the links and a celebration on the 19th to salute Charlie Ono!! Your OC, KC!!

Our 1st star has an outstanding day on the links just before he heads off to Ireland to play on the EG Ireland trip. Charlie Ono, goes undefeated with wins over Biscuit Oshumka, Princess and BreadMan. And he registers 2 doggies, and 3 skins to top it all off. And he has a trifecta on #3. And he shoots a whooping 11 below his median to record his best Slammer round ever and this is only his 3rd year in golfing. WOW. He has a great partner that encouraged him to go on the Ireland trip. Life is good and your performance today is OUTSTANDING!! |
