 Notables - TC senior went to 18 holes where Slinky prevailed over Pouf
- Stumpy plays his 3rd slammer round and grabs 2 skins matching two by Pouf. Papa, Goofball, Steelcrazy and Slinky each had one of the total of 8 ($4 each)
- Note that 7 skins were won with pars, a reflection of the windy conditions (plus Steelcrazy's eagle). Papa snags 2 doggies, one on # 3 and his second at 30' on #16 was missed by doggie master (leaves and poor colour selection!). Pommie's bright yellow doggie ball however stood up on #13, yielding $11 each Dog

Summary
Seven stalwart fall Slammers (Dutch bailed earlier that morning) took on very challenging conditions with 30km winds in which no-one shot under their scoring median. Again proving forecasters wrong (and Malone right!), no rain. Papa showed up with massive target on his back, which apparently made it hard to hit balls well, and he succumbed to three challengers (so more new targets). But he did compensate with 2 dogs. In a tight competitive group, Steelcrazy went undefeated with 2 wins and a tie. And he went crazy as his 113 yards wedge shot on 15 bounced up green and disappeared into hole for an eagle (and skin). His first eagle on slammer tour. |
