Summary
Champlain is the hidden golf gem in the region. Great service from the proshop to Bernie's 10th hole spot to the 19 hole. Super!! And the course conditions keep getting better as the greens are cut close, rolled and watered providing for true, super fast and tricky greens. These greens are a real treat for all the Slammers playing. Yes, the Slammers today came to the consensus that Champlain is in awesome condition and the best bang for your golf buck in the region. A slight adjustment in teeboxes occurred as some Slammer or Champions were asked to move back one tee box to fit into the Champions' tee box matrix. This provided a fair, enjoyable and competitive format for the Slammers to compete and had no effect on the outcome of the matches. A great enjoyable day with my fellow Slammers. Thanks for making it such as wonderful summer event. Your OC, KC.
