BROKER4TICKETS SKINS: A tale of two 9s today. On the front 9, only 1 skin and that goes to Pouf with a birdie. On the back 9, there were 6 skins. Pouf winning 3 skins for a total of 4 for the day and single skins won by KidsClub, Blue, and Duke!! 7 skins each worth 6 bones per with 3 bones going to the kids. Super shooting!!

Summary
Once more it has been proven that if you want to stay out of the rain, go to the golf course. Under threatening skies and on one of the best manicured and lush courses in the Ottawa Valley, a combination of EG “Champions” players and Slammer “Tour Champion” competitors enjoyed the camaraderie and sense of accomplishment that sustains the golf addict.
High praise, for the Champlain Golf Club and to the maintenance crew for providing a resplendent golf venue, abounds during the competition wrap up.
Low scoring was the order of the day, birdies plentiful, and dogs were made to look easy on greens that hold, for even long iron and hybrid approach shots.

Pouf – If you think that the Champlain golf course is not receptive to a well hit shot, this Slammer might say otherwise. On his way to what may be his Slammer career score of 72, he included 3 birdies, all holding up as skins, and also winning a skin with a par. Pouf’s awesome shot making proved no match for the fellows in the foursome, easily taking all three matches. We offer our kudos to a fine golfer and sportsman. |

Finishing off his two competitors in the middle of the back nine, Duke displayed his golfing skills with perfect drives and accurate approach shots. Recording a score that was eight under his median, the Duke collected a skin, a dog and a well-deserved chip-in bird. Golf hats off to a gentleman and gracious winner. |

Playing her first Slammer Champions event saw this avid golfer take down both of her opponents, with no remorse. A solid participant, Small Pak exhibits talents exemplified with a score that was six strokes under her median, including a merited birdie and a dog. Welcome to the Seniors. |
