Summary
It was a hot, hot, hot event today not only weather wise but more importantly golf wise as lots of low scores and close matches were registered at the Slammer event today at Stonebridge. The tees have been shortened for playability but still with the fescue the course can play tough if you don't keep it on the fairway. The greens were faster than the practice area, the fairways were in great condition, the Slammership outstanding, the match play golf enjoyable and addicting and did I mention the thirst quenching, ice cold beverages on the 19th hole. All in all another great event made possible by the Slammers in attendance!!

The 1st star goes to Malone who goes 3-0-0 taking out PointZero, Cuba and Blue and closing them out on the 12th and 15th hole He is striking the ball well and drives long off the tee. He has 5 birdies which are good enough for 3 skinners. He registers only 3s and 4s on the back 9. Not just an ordinary round. Outstanding!! |

Iron Maiden is the 2nd star of the event going 3-0-0 as well. This petite Slammerette is crushing the ball off the tee. She has a birdie on route to the romp over KidsClub, Grumpy and Pommie taking them all out on or before the 14th hole. Excellent!! |
