Notables

Gator sets a Slammer Tour record by playing in his 53rd event as a rookie.
Rio upsets Chef and wins the TC Open Tour Championship Cascagnette Cup.
BigGuy was dressed impeccably and was voted Best Dressed Slammer by the clothing committee.
Grumpy wore the nicest shorts.
Chef swept the only 2 skins awarded but because there was $75 in the pot, when it is divided by 2 the kids are left with the extra dollar.
Dogs worth $20 each were won by BigGuy, Lucky and Cuba (2).
Thanks to Lucky for doing the skins and for starting to collect the Dog and skins money and handing it off to the always available to lend a hand Grumpy who then passed it to the Doggie Master IronMaiden, who, after auditing the skins results for Lucky, wrapped it up with her presentation.
The OC is so appreciative of the team of volunteers that run like a well lubricated machine.
The initial call was to play the usually sufficient Slammer Stickhandling rule, but as we were through 5 holes, mud balls were the norm and word was effectively passed around that lift clean and place was in play from the 6th hole forward.
There were only 5 birdies for 16 Slammers and 3 were on the 13th hole.
Red made her Slammer debut today and StevieRay initiated her by finding her wayward provisional ball and expropriating it for his own ultimately directionally challenged effort.

Summary
Early in the week the weather for Wednesday was windy and wet but while we waited for the woeful worst, it turned out to be......wonderful !

	Davestator takes out Deter, upsets Billiards and ties StevieRay in 3 close matches, to take 5 out of 6 points. Solid Slamming by the guy who plays only with photogenic golfers. Picturesque !
	IronMaiden
	IronMaiden takes out BigGuy and upsets Gator and Grumpy as she gets her maximum 6 points. Sometimes it seems all she needs is her putter! Guess you had to be there. Putterific !
	Rio (r)
	Rio brought along his younger brother to caddie, and his own exemplary game to defeat BigTee, Lucky and Chef. He earned 6 points as well as the TC Open Championship, the latter over Chef by a score of 3 and 2. Olympian !
