Summary
Well the golf gods finally smiled on us today as the weather turned warm and sunny. Lots of shorts and short sleeves. They just forgot to lay off the wind a bit! The 20 - 30 km. breezes were a challenge all day long. But the Slammers were up to the task, cheerfully clubbing up or down in an attempt to minimize the effects of blustery Aeolus (look it up!).; Welcome to our newest Slammer, Babz. We're always happy to see more women join the Slammers.; Although the course was a bit wet in places, we've seen a lot worse this spring and the greens were in very good condition.

Shorts comes out in his shorts and makes short work of Sandman and Hexy shortening their matches by 8 and 7 and completes the sweep by taking down BearCat on 18. For good measure, he throws in a dog on Number 2. He doesn't oome up short today! |

Swanny goes 3-0 against Juice, Gator, and Shortstack elevating himself into the top 20. A birdie skin on Number 12 secures the second star. |

Our third star rings up wins against Blue and Bookie and a tie with Pukey J. He also scores a birdie skin on Number 10 and a dog on Number 16. Well done! |
