  • TC Match - Pars 2000 A class - Shortstack defeats Dracula when they both bogeyed the last three holes. Good luck in round two vs Duker. TC Match - Ladies B class - first event of the second round sees Dr Pepper eliminate Small Pak 5 and 4.
  • EAGLE alert! She has done it again. Juice gets a three on the par five fourteenth. This is her third career EAGLE - only 12 Slammers have more.
  • Factoid – WOW! Five full groups and when Pipeline is introduced as having zero wins vs his group career wise, it is noted that the only other Slammer in the field without a group win was Mulder (still relatively new). There was No Slammer in the event today that had zero matches vs the foursome (any of the five groups).
  • Factoid two – while speaking about Mulder (Thank you for taking care of the Culligan Doggy collecting and reporting).… be warned he is improving and learning golf on You Tube.
  • Staying with Social Media – did you know that the half way hut in the middle of 6,7,12, & 13 has a Facebook page? If you putt or chip in from off the green you win free water and get your mug shot on their Facebook page. Don’t believe me – go look and see who did it.
  • Iron Maiden once again was at an event as skins master so Dynamic Physio & Chiro thank you, as does this OC. Reminder everybody that even YOU can volunteer and then the OCs don't have to double duty or volunteer someone slse. THANK YOU!
  • Thank you J Money! Thank you Kookie! He requested / she delivered and I am not sure who ate the most cookies. Kookie was accosted in the parking lot. She pulled up and there were five Slammers at her car right away. I guess when JMoney talks – everybody LISTENS!
  • Albatross had to leave yesterday's event early. He won a dog and a skin and that was worth twenty bones. When told of it - he donated his 20 to the Kids and they thank you.

Summary
This was another fantastic day in SlammerVille. Welcome to event 89 this 2015 season. Today the Tour was here in Prescott along with another event at our ‘home’ course Casselview. I hate when all we do is complain about weather. Today was a glorious Fall day and, although there were no shorts seen on the Tour – there were also no complaints about seeing legs. However, many comments about the leaves and not just about all those blue team fans. We started off by lamenting about our brother Steel Crazy having to withdraw with an ailing back. For those of you keeping score at home J$ stopped off and witnessed first-hand the injury. Three defaults and two of the Slammers had a big jump in the rankings. Mulder – watch how many friends you have NOW! How did we end the day? We celebrated the fact that IronMaiden became only the third to Slammer to register her 600th event and will soon be the proud owner of a new golf bag from the Tour.

T-bird
Two birds, two skins and a dog. SIXTY bones, and a new ranking of 44. ... 3-0, all upsets. So how did he do it? A birdie on 16 was enough to shake hands for the first time with PipeLine. He also received congratulations for the second time in a row from Dracula (now 2-0 career). His rubber match with Shortstack had to wait until the eighteenth, but his par was enough, to seal the deal.
Guinness
3-0, all upsets. One bird and a dog. Best score ever on the tour. First to fall was Grumpy on hole 14, making their career no longer even at two wins apiece. Avenging his 0-2 career vs KC, Guinness shook his hand two holes later. At the same hole as Big Guy in their inaugural match, to wrestle the #1 hat away. and his first ever 3-0 day. A ranking of 81, and the new #1 D. However – although you beat #1, Mulder has jumped higher and the hat will have to await his first defence).
IronMaiden
Another 3-0, which includes an upset of Dr Pepper, on 18 when they both got a bogey. That win brought the Maiden’s career to 2-5 vs the doctor, including four straight losses. Earlier, she had taken down SmallPak for the fifth straight match. Two holes after that – she defeated the Honourary Slammette for the day. Hey Inch, fifth straight without a win vs EDDIE. Last time was in 2012! Congrats to the girl for playing her 600th career event today.
