CULLIGAN DOGGIES: Five par 3 with only 2 puppies claimed worth 17 bones per. Lots of 3 putts. Some of these guys are good. Doggie winners are Shorts (#11 @25ft) and Schteeme (#13 @28ft). Great job guys!!

REAL FANS SKINS: Not a 4 skin day but 3 skins were won worth 11 bones a pop. One was won with a birdie and the other two with pars. Winners are Shorts, Stevie Ray and Ace. Excellent!!

Summary
It was drizzly and misty for the front 9, dry for the back and overall a very playable day for Slammin'. Course conditions were very much playable with quick greens and carpet fairways. The Pro shop told me that they cut the greens every morning and roll them every other day. For some, putting was a journey. Some scored very well with other Slammers just managed but overall we were so glad to be Slammin' at the beginning of this long weekend! And it seemed that the Slammers had the course to ourselves. Thanks to my fellow Slammers for making this so enjoyable! Your OC, KC.

From all reports, Shorts, the first star, was hitting the ball sweet. He takes out Bookie (7 & 6) and Stevie Ray on the 18th. He scores a birdie, takes home a skin and a doggie. Its his 2nd best round of the Slammer season. Sweeeeeeeet |
