 Notables - Always be aware of where the group in front of you is as they set the pace you have to follow
- TC matches were cancelled before starting the round because of the conditions of the greens ( we asked in the proshop if the greens on the course were the same as the putting green )
- Boomer lists 10 three putts on the day to justify his $5.00 donation to the kids but I suspect a whine or two
- There were some good matches in Group 2 as well with Chilly and Malone going to 18 before crowning the new number 1 ( Chilly's 76 was enough to tie Malone's 74 in match play )
- Ticklar was prepared to walk after 9 holes but then he got two pars and he was hooked again
- Props to my peeps Lucky and Mapper, the best skinmaster and dogmaster playing at Arnprior today between 7:15am and 11:45am

Summary
In spite of the conditions on the greens quite a few people managed to get it together and post a number considerably better then their scoring average. This golf is a funny game, all it takes is one good bounce to turns things in your favour or as the case was today 13 good bounces per foot. - Best aspects of course: Some of the most violently punched greens we've played in a while is unfortunately how this event will be remembered. If the greens come back to the level of the rest of the course there will be some fine golf to be played in Arnprior this fall.
