Summary
It may have been overcast the entire day but there was still SunShine on the course in the Slammer groups for all 18 holes, and I would once again like to welcome her to her first event. I hope you enjoyed yourself on the day and that you will come back again in the future. Tour Championship matches have started in all divisions and kudos go out to KaDaver and HELFM who both advanced to round 2 in their respective divisions. Also I would to thank our "Embroid Me" doggie master Smitty and our "Fit For Golf" skin master Grumpy. Without you guys someone else would have to do it. Keep an eye out for any events at this course in the future,you will not be disappointed. Thats all for now folks, so until next time, Peace Out and Go Central.

Not to bore you with all the details but Chef insisted and he sealed the deal by bribing the OC with beer. In a class by himself today, Chef fires a 2 under par 70 with 3 birdies, 3 doggies, 1 skin and obviously 6 points. For the record every one playing today shot 70, it's just that you were the only one to get 18 holes done. Fantastic job Chef.
KaDaver
KaDaver survives a close call on the course and continues his fine play. His 6 point performance was good enough to card a 77 on the day. Winning his first round TC A match over Suds advances him to round 2 and his three birdies managed to net him one skin in the process.
ParBreaker
Sporting a new putter, a byproduct of a couple of slow days at work, ParBreaker puts it to good use on the course with three birdies. That's good enough for two skins, 6 points and a 1 over par round of 73.

  • Best aspects of course: This is a wonderful course, the greens get the highest praise but every element of this track is to be commended. A definite highlight for the SlammerTour and Executive Golf. As a new golf course one has to realize it is only going to get better as it continues to grow in and mature.
