Summary
An interesting afternoon on the Slammer Tour as the light rain forecast becomes a likely reality. Only six of the eight registered Slammers showed up for the tee times. And then Ticklar shows up without a spot but his participation allows the event to have official skins. The conditions made some players shine with their game and matches while other players struggled. Two players, the Game and rookie Dano, played so well that at the end of the day they were equally deserving of 1st star status. And a flip of the coin determined who would be written up as 1st star. An interesting afternoon on the Slammer Tour!!

Zamboni takes home the 1st star in his 1st Slammer event. He goes 2-0-0 taking out Hacker and Ticklar. He jumps from UR all the way up to number 2. And on his way up the ladder in his 1st event journey, he has 2 birds, 1 dog and 5 skins. And all of this done with 2 replaced hips. Congrats on the showing in your first event and welcome to the Slammer Tour!! |

The Game takes home 2nd star. He shoots his second best round in his Slammer career. He goes 3-0-0 winning his matches against FlameWorker, KidsClub and Charlie. He also takes home 2 skins. All of this with brand new Nike blades he purchased the day before. Game has game and his game is improving. Excellent!! |
