Summary
A splendid spring day for the Slammers in South Mountain as we took on Nationview south of the city. The Slammer bretheren has patiently waited for Mother Nature to bring forth good weather and she has finally answered the call. With the exception of the 10 minute hard rain and hail storm that hit us on the 16th hole, the day was perfect with temps in the high teens and slightly overcast skies. This venue was one of two sold out Saturday events and with the gang at Equinelle only 15 minutes up the road we had a total of 7 Slammer groups playing match play golf in the Kemptville area today. Add to this the fact that our group at Nationview had the course pretty well to ourselves...you just can't buy this kind of fun anywhere else but on the Slammer Tour.

Our first star Pizzaman defends against his group with wins over Shades, Monkee and The Game. Recording 1 of the only 2 birds of the day, Pizzaman takes 4 skins and a doggie to boot! Congrats! |
