Notables

Notable - X-Tour asks for last tee time becaise he expects to be late. He and FishHawk get there in time and dont have a lot of time to warm up, but like I always say, warming up is over-rated. They both go 3-0.
Honourable Mention to Malone. He does one of those regular day at the office type rounds getting one dog and his only bird was cut-off. The real reason that i give him an HM was for organizing this day,
HM also to Grumpy for his first ever "B" class score.
Three doggies are mentioned in this report elsewhere - Ruskie collects 20 bones for his 20 footer on the first par three of the day.
Notable - with a few words well spoken at the teebox - #3 {No not Babe Ruth}, Cuba convinces his three playing partners to join him back at the blues., and then TJ & Aggy do so as well in the last group.
Thank you to Malone for being Doggie Master, but a SPECIAL thanx to rookie Two Putt. Often he answers the call to be one of the Masters. Today he was seen kneeling on asphalt, entering scores, and probably didn't even get time to eat before having to go out again for the second round.

Summary
The Vice President of Executive Golf, and Assistant Commisioner of the Slammer Tour realizes that there is a town in Northern New York, named after him. Then he finds out that they have a golf course there. I don't know what would have happened if he was a fan of 'The Babe' (NO Bookie I don't mean Paul Bunyan's ox). He shocks everybody by stating it isn't due to this course that he has his nickname. This OC would like to challenge you all to get to know other Slammer's reasons for their names. I was a little worried, not about the course that I have come to love as one of my favourites, having been here often with friends TJ & Blue. My anticipation was crossing the border with Cuba and Ruskie.

	Who came to Malone as the highest ranking Slammer in the USA? Cuba at #3 (fitting number - seeing as it is retired by the Yankees!), held that dubious distinction. Well right off the first tee, X-Tour went after him. Winning the first hole and only being down once (after 10th), then X-Tour took off. He won the next 5 holes to close Cuba after 15. He successfully defended vs FishHawk & Ruskie on the next hole to have the perfect 3-0. On the first teebox, he was intoduced as the husband and dad that put family first. X-Tour had won one of the chances to shoot for a Million Dollars, last Friday, in the Royal Oak kick-off day celebrations. However he had promised the family Womderland, and honoured that promise first. Well done new #3!
	JRoots
	True enough that this is an anomaly - that the second star loses to an HM, but it IS the case today. JRoots shot 8 below his SA, for his best ever Slammer round and only went 2-1, with that loss being at the hands of Malone. JRoots had two dogs and 3 of his 4 birdies were good enough for skins. Beer on JRoots with him collecting 70 bones. OH YEAH, by the way, he only moved from 211th to 26th with his upsets over TJ & Aggy. Maybe he golfs even faster than Grumpy!
	BearCat
	Well, the cat was away so the bear came out to play. His only hole that was higher than a 7 was when he let the marshall get into his head, about pace of play. He successfully took down Sutty, and then his defeat of Grumpy, was a step up about 10 rungs on the rankings ladder. To round out his 3-0 day and another jump up 22 spots was his first career upset of Wilford. Today was one of those days that BearCat scores a "B" score {about 1 in 10}, shooting 11 below his SA and getting closer to leaving the "D" class for good.
