Summary
Long weekend bliss....it's Sunday and while most of us are usually thinking ahead and trying to prepare for the start of another work week....Today is Sunday and tomorrow is Victoria Day Monday. For some, this translates into Sunday golf and Monday rest....or Sunday golf and Monday yard work....or Sunday golf and Monday family time with the grandkids....or if you are lucky (not LUCKY) then it means Sunday golf and Monday more golf. Yes siree Bob! TGIM! To all Slammers in Slammerland, enjoy your first long weekend of the 2012 season and bring on summer!

If you Google "The Ticklar" the first thing you see is a description of a game..."Rip, crush and burn through thousands of enemies" and I am thinking this game was created based on the real life mantra of our Ticklar. Today was no different as he marks his return (after a brief hiatus) defending against DeeJay and Pipeline and takes down ProZee for his #6 position in the Slammer ranks. Our #1 star takes 6pts with 1 bird and 1 skin. Congrats! |

Happy took the ferry from his homestead on the other side of the river and happily went 3-0 for 6 points defending against Stiff and recording the upset wins against Small Pak and IronMaiden...moving 60 some spots up the ranks and into the top 20. This Slammer is a lover of all animals and "it takes 5 people to sheer an alpaca don't ya know".....but he didn't manage to round up any birdies to take home for his menagerie. He did however rope in the rare and sometimes illusive Slammer Doggie and for this he earns the bones to pay the ferryman for the trip back home. Excellent! |

This rookie continues to make great strides in both his gamesmanship and the stats. BigTee took on two fellow rookies today and comes out on top recording the upset wins over Harley and GreenReader and moving another 50+ spots up the Slammer ranks. With 4 points added to his Bud Light points total and 2 additional wins to pad his winning percentage, BigTee is looking good for a nomination for the 2012 Ottawa Sun rookie of the Year. Well done! |
