Summary
The first mid week event of the 2012 season and what more could we want on March 21st. Breakfast at the club, an open driving range for the Slammers ONLY, 9am tee off (on time!), fairways with a little bounce, nicely rolling greens, record smashing temps with a humidex...the list goes on. And you just have to love a course that goes out of their way to make you feel at home. Claude and his crew rolled out the red carpet to make our first 2012 visit to Casselview a memorable one. What a terrific first week of events on the Slammer Tour!

Our first star had a rough start on the first tee but still managed to bogey the hole (after hitting water and trees)....and it was ALL GOOD from then on. Malone goes undefeated with defence wins over Clang and Crenshaw with 3 birds good for 2 skins. Congrats! |

IronMaiden also has a good day on the course going 3-0 for 6 points. Defending against Grumpy and BigGuy, IM records the upset win against Stevie Ray with 1 bird good for a skin and tops if off with a doggie. |

Grumpy had a fantastic day on the course with some excellent ball striking that concluded a round 10 strokes below his average and tying his second lowest personal best. Adding 1 bird and 2 points to his stats, it is the
"cut offs" that earned him this star....Grumpy cuts off Chef for the skin on hole #8 and also cuts off Malone for what would have been a "par" skin on #6. Well done! |
