Nolanator drives it over the ditch on hole #8...a 290yd carry!
The question is asked, "what the heck is up with Sunshine's umbrella?" which looked more like little girl's parasol. Sunshine advises that it is solely for covering her clubs. No kidding!
Grumpy finds the pace so slow that he takes to getting a severe migraine that sees him have to depart after 9 holes. Seriously though, we wish Grumpy a quick recovery back to good health.
Special thanks to Bookie for taking on the Doggie duties and to Juice who covers off for the fallen dwarf and takes care of the Skins.
Doggies: Nolanator lays one down within 12ft on hole #2, no one can master the long #5, Crenshaw leaves it 10ft away on #11 and Figmo is within 20ft on hole #15. Each doggie was worth $33.00 with $1 to the kids
Skins: Only 3 skins on the day, Nolanator hits the jackpot on holes #6 & #8 while Chef waits until the 18th to show he still has the magic. Each skin was worth $30.00.

Summary
Easter Monday, a time for renewal and hope. How appropriate as the Slammers teed it up at Kingsway. While the forecast was for rain, twas the Sun that greeted us for the bulk of the round causing jackets to disappear as fast as the last vestiges of snow. Signs of renewal were everywhere from the grass beginning to find its true colour of green to the multitude of flora peeking up at us as the ground slowly yields its winter hold. And with it comes the hopes of the Slammers for maybe, just maybe, a few more doggie and skin wins, a better scoring average or perhaps a TC title or two. Alas, as golf is want to do, for many those hopes were crushed on the very first tee. But there will many more opportunities. Ah, Slammers were slammin' folks and if that ain't a sure sign of spring then I don't know what is.

	Nolanator
	Nolanator goes on a seek and destroy mission today. Despite some soggy conditions and greens so rough it made every putt a "hit & hope" adventure, he goes 3-0, signs for four birdies, has one dog and two skins. This on his way to crushing his Uncle and his Dad (family ties be damned) and is reduced to ordering take out as he kicks Chef out of the kitchen. He makes the 1st star selection easy.
	Crenshaw
	The Slammer bug was eating at Crenshaw bad so he takes a gamble and checks in with Malone with the hopes that someone has bailed at the last minute. Timing is everything and the opportunity is there. Taking full advantage of luck, he goes 3-0, scores a doggie for good measure and steps up to the podium to accept 2nd star honours.
	Chef
	While he went down to defeat to Nolanator he didn't go easily. Chef fought the good fight but, despite his exceptional culinary skills, came up just a pinch short for what the recipe demanded causing the souffle to collapse on the 17th. But along the way he still whips up a pair of wins, three birdies and a doggie. Chef is full value as 3rd star.
