- One Slammer got ten holed today, chill almost won some - courtesy of Potter. ShorTee gets the only package, and says thank you Sutty (first time ever awarding someone such a prize).
- There were no milestones in today's event (but there were almost four of them).
- Happy Anniversary to Dr.Pepper. One year ago tomorrow on this very course was, the inaugural event for Ms Cherry Cola.
- Thank you Sutty for your entertaining presentation of the Culligan Doggy Report. Potter(3), YipMeister(9), Irons(15), & DrPepper(17) especially thank you. Hey Doggy Masters - don't try to trick chill - she actually LISTENS!
- JonJon or THE JonJon as he is called in Hong Kong, was equal to the Slammer originality of presenting a skins report. He did the Dynamic Physio & Chiro skins report, caused some confusion - methinks intentionally?
- Speaking of confusion - this OC would like to remind you all that after enjoying the camaraderie, repast and the libations, don't forget to pay your tab! Of course - i love to pick on you about it and WILL!

Summary
Brockville Country Club! They came from near and afar to play this magnificent track. One from India (nagar means town - yamuna is a river), one from Liverpool, one from Hong Kong, another from Syria. They came from Alberta, two from Quebec (one from Granby in the Eastern Townships - Go NORDS!), Toronto, Sault Ste Marie(Sudbury), the NCR & Prescott ... one even came from Brockville. They came young and they came old. What did they come for? Well some are regulars that love it here, but others heard about it and had to try it - they unanimously loved it, and will be back. The greens were punched the week before - they had been top dressed, everybody was warned, (the greens a little slow?) nobody complained - ESPECIALLY the KIDS!

Habib entered today's event as the highest ranking Slammer. Four and a half hours later he walked off 18 still ranked #14. On 14 he took down the Tour's youngest Slammette, HaleStorm. Two holes later Inch was defeated 3 and 2. The final victim was the passenger in his vehicle. Steel Crazy won holes 15 & 16, then shook hands with Habib. By the way ... on the way Habib won three skins. |

The host played against his 'bus to Myrtle seat partner' and a couple of brand new Ladies A classers. Outcome? 3-0! chill was first to shake his hand and just missed winning her own TP. Jam (6 and 4) and Dr.Pepper (3 and 2), rounded out his three victories. Number 88 upset chill to move to 46 and the kid from Southern Alberta to jump to 33. He also won a dog and a skin. |

Fourteenth event for this early season candidate of the Ottawa Sun Rookie of the Year award. A star for the sixth time! Today, our Skins Master goes 3-0 with wins over Dyke & YipMeister. His upset of Irons moved him up the ladder to #22. Jon Jon's birdie on #7 won him a skin. |
