 Notables - NOTABLE: The course was in great shape, the staff pleasant and helpful and we were made to feel like we were members, not just guests. A couple of staff even showed up at the first tee to see everyone get started. First class!

Notable: Lucky is the only one to hit the green on the par 3, hole #3. He makes a two putt but still manages to not get the doggie.

SKINS: Lucky takes hole #11 with a birdie, Pepilpeu gets holes #12 & #18, both with pars, Fingz claims hole #14 by virtue of the only birdie and T-Bird makes his birdie stand up on hole #15. Each skin was worth $11.00.

DOGGIES: Hole #3 goes unclaimed, Schteeme gets holes #7 (25ft) & #13 (9ft), Small Pack lays claim to hole #9 (6ft) and Fingz closes it out on hole #17 (20ft). Each doggie was worth 12 bones.

Summary
With the Commish's Cup only a couple of days away it was, to say the least, much of the focus on the day. Some people were looking to hone their game, some were looking to find their game and a few definitely lost their game. With half of the Slammers participating today belonging to Team Quebec there was chance they could send a pretty potent message to the rest of the Commish's Cup teams. Alas it was not to be and they best hope its not an omen of what is to come. Regardless, what a marvelous day to be on a golf course. Especially one where you're treated so well.

Shteeme does Team Central proud and puts on a superb performance. Caught under his treads were FingZ, Gru and Shark. Going 3-0, he takes a couple of doggies for good measure and is crowned the days 1st star. |

|
This member of Team East was up against it as he had to face down three members of Team Quebec. Well, face them down he did as he takes T-bird, Turtle and Pepilepu out to the wood shed. Going 3-0 Lucky has a birdie and a skin, moves up to #10 on the hit parade and earns 2nd star honours on the day. Grumpy's addition with the OC's permission - Lucky's upset of T-Bird on 16 was good for his 700th career point. He is the 27th Slammer to THAT milestone. |

She may be small in stature but this Slammer isn't look down on by anyone. She takes down BigGuy and Chuckie while clawing back on #18 to secure a draw with Flyer. Add a birdie and doggie into the mix and you have Small Pak as your 3rd star. |
