From the Statistician’s desk back in Ottawa: When Rulz took down Tesla today, in their first ever match, it earned him his 1700th point. He became only the 7th Slammer to reach that plateau. Malone was 8th Slammer to reach 1500 points, with his win over Barnacle Bill. Macdahustla recorded his 100th win as a Slammer when he improved his career to 2-0 vs auldphart (the last win was in Cuba a month ago).

Summary
A gorgeous first day here is paradise, the course was tip top, the fairways were lush for those that found them, greens were receptive and true so some slammers took advantage with good scores, and plenty of birdies, especially on the par 3’s. Well done guys!
