TC UPDATE: Both Fodder and Pouf advanced in the Sr. Tour Championship and will face each other in the Semi Finals. Well played both of you and good luck in the next round!!
QUICKSNAP DOGGIE REPORT: Dogs were barking on holes 6 (Sutty at 6 feet), hole 9 (Fodder at 9 feet), hole 14 (Fodder at 10 feet) and hole 15 (Pouf at 10 feet). Each dog was worth a nice round 20 bones. Thank you to Stevie Ray for volunteering and presenting the Doggie Report. It is very much appreciated.
BROKER4TICKETS SKINS REPORT: Skins were aplenty today but the people collecting them were few. There were a total of 6 today. 3 went to McGoop (on holes 5, 13 and 18) and Fodder netted 3 (on holes 5, 8 and 10). Each skin was worth 11 bones. Thank you to Juice for volunteering and presenting the Skins Report. It is also very appreciated.
Barb, the bartender at the CedarHill Bar gets an honourable mention for remembering how to make a Mulder. (i.e. a mintless diet mojito.) Great service at CedarHill as always!!
Two slammers who have played 415 collective matches on tour finally met today again after 4414 days. (12 years, 1 month). This is Kricket and TwinDad who last played on August 3rd, 2005 at this event.
Zoey paid $10 on the first tee getting into the hole in one club. It must have been a premonition because he was already in the hole in one club, but later on we found out Dr. Pepper took the massive hole in one pot at Pineview....if it counts. So indirectly, Zoey was officially the first player to get back in the next hole in one pot. Joining him by giving the OC ten dollars at this event are Mulder, GreyGoose and Fodder.
I wouldn't call the Slammer Tour a "Cult" but when it comes to Rain, there is only group dedicated enough to get their butts out there to play. Then again, there is another Cult that knows Rain. Click image below to hear them sing a great tune.

Summary
Ever get to a golf course and think...."I wish we had the course to ourselves?" Well today was that day. 16 slammers showed up at CedarHill and we were the only ones on the course. We had so much space the only people on the course were not supposed to be there. (see quotables about dogs). The drizzle was light enough to not be annoying but it was consistent so you really had to be ready for wet weather golf. But being Slammers, we know how to handle a bit of leftover Harvey rain. Surprisingly the course drained well and the greens were superb which is a testament to the design and maintenance team at CedarHill. Thanks for hosting us. ............................................................ ............................................................ Mulder Out
Was once again a very tough mudder. And on a day when the ground was wet and conditions not optimal, he had an optimal round. He had 4 birdies, 3 skins, 2 dogs, and 1 helluva partridge in a pear tree round!! He was undefeated which means he also won his Sr. TC Quarter Final and will be facing Pouf in the next round. Great job!!
shot an amazing 69 today. According to a member of his foursome, it was simply a pleasure to watch him play and make some amazing shots. He was undefeated but also snagged 5, count em, FIVE birdies and 3 skins. I can't tell you how much I enjoy playing with him and it was nice to hear others appreciate the skill he has and brings to The Slammer Tour. Sweet Round!!
had some sweet mojo going. When his drives were a bit off, his irons showed up. When his irons were a bit off, his chipping was there. When his chipping was a bit off, his putting showed up. All this lead to a very nice mid 80's score and a 3-0-0 rercord against his group. Very nice round in the rain good sir!!
