They're doing bypass surgery Monday afternoon. He'll remain in hospital for 5-7 days afterward. Monday at 4:00 … “everything went well!” … Monday at 9:00 p.m. He is breathing on his own and able to hang his feet over the bed. … Tuesday morning 9:00 a.m. “Nurse just called....he had a great night and continues to do very well. He will be moved to a room by noon.” Finding it hard to sleep on Tuesday and Wednesday nights, and as you can imagine - very PAINFUL! Wednesday night medication - to help him sleep - caused nightmares. Thursday morning he has gone for a walk with his nurse. MAY BE HOME SATURDAY. However on Saturday, they decided to keep him another day because and I quote Blue, "one of my incisions leaked a bit today and you guessed it, the colour of the blood was Blue!" he is home and resting well... we ALL hope to see you soon Jack
  • DIDDLEDOOB set a new record today. This rookie is the first ever rookie to play 60 events in a season. The record is HIS and where will it stop? He breaks Gator's 2012 record.
  • EAGLE ALERT - Two of them! GO SEE the information for the third star on the right. It was T-Bird's seventh and Crenshaw's third.
  • QUICK SNAP doggies were all handed out and at 48 bones each were well received, especially by the D Slammer named Zoey. He won two of them!
  • The BROKER4 TICKETS skins report was very easy. There is ONLY ONE. FingZ' birdie on hole two is worth 235 bones. T-Bone has the record on Sep 26, 2015 at Dragonfly when he won 360 bones (but that was two at 180 each). Rio walked home with 240 skin bones on Nov. 18, 2012 at Canadian (2 x 120). Today, FingZ' record skin beat the previous record of 230 held by ProZee on Nov. 16, 2013 at Falcon Ridge. Felicitations mon frère!
  • MILESTONE one today - Spud collected his 400th career point when he had a draw vs. Pouf.
  • MILESTONE two today - Sunshine's win over LateyDress on hole 14 was her 300th career point.
  • MILESTONE three today - When T-Bird halved his match against Lucky it was his 100th point of the season.

Summary
Round one of the annual Club EG club championships. In another couple of weeks we will crown 11 new champs (well there may be a repeat or two). Round one right here at the home of the Commish Cup, Casselview. The Slammer Tour runs alongside the championship format. A couple of rule amendments, as we play closer to stroke play, but still keep our match play in tact. The scores may be up a stroke or two as we forgo the two foot gimmes. Our home course treat us as royalty - and are all allowing for our split tee format. Kaki's great work catching up on gear distribution is well documented as being appreciated. hats, shirts and jackets are being handed out, all over the place. The Game
This B golfer came out today and played like an A golfer. He is now 1-0 career against Nivlac (5and4). Next hole he beat Juice 5and3. That win over Juice was a rubber match – they had both won three of their previous six matches. This upset moves The Game from #11 to #8. After two straight career losses to Intruder, he takes him down 4and3 and is now 1-2 career wise. Birdies on holes 10-11-12 sure helped. Do you remember the last time that you had a birdie on three straight holes?
FingZ
He has the only skin! Ask GaspeBoy how far his birdie putt was on that hole 2! A skin worth 235 bones makes many wonder - is that a record? You will have to look to the left, to find out. His win vs Shelgame earned him 4 starpoints. The win against Macdahustla earned him another four points, but more importantly moved him from #17 overall to #6. Those eight points plus the 4 for his skin, one for a bird and one for shooting an A score gives him a total of 14 points.
Crenshaw
AND T-Bird ended up tied with twelve points each. They cut each other off with a hole 11 EAGLE. The nod goes to Crenshaw, because ben beat the fellow Team Quebec teacher 2and1. F Y I when there is a tie in the starpoints system, the tiebreaker goes to the one with the most criteria earning him a point.
