Summary
When I OC Pineview, I usually leave work an hour before and make it there with plenty of time to spare. Yesterday was a different story though as the 417 was packed due to an accident. Stressful drive there having to take detours but I managed to get there just in the nick of time. 8 of us showed up to play and wow, the last 3 days of rain sure did make it tough out there. Great to see everyone enjoy the 19th hole with lots of laughs and great conversations.

Wow wow wow. I've had the pleasure of playing Charlie a few times this year and his enthusiasm for the game and for great shots being played surprises me every time with claps and cheers. Following his great round yesterday, Charlie inskied for 2 other events. But he gets first star for going 1-0 (actually, he also beat an A player - but was "unofficial"). He is the new C1, got 1 dog, 2 birdies and 2 skins. He is my only star today. Well played Charlie, well played. OH and Charlie even bought the gang beverages to celebrate his great play. |
