Summary
It turned out to be a super fantabulous day Slammin' at eQuinelle. Two days ago the forecast called for 30 to 40 mm of rain with a weather alert. Some Slammer vet bailage. Still this morning's forecast called for rain and possible lightning. Some more bailage but as it turned out, there was not one drop of rain while we Slammed at eQuinelle. A great bunch of newbees came to tryout the Slammer Tour and by all accounts, they really enjoyed their 1st event on Tour. Add in the mix 3 vets and 2 Rookies with some ST events under their belts made for an interesting and enjoyable field and 19th hole. Vets dominated the Doggies while Newbees dominated the Skins. Got a lot of positive feedback from several 1st timers. Overall, a very enjoyable summer day Slammin' at a Tour favourite course, eQuinelle. We hope to see all the new Slammers return to meet more of the Slammer Tour family. Your OC, KC!

Tony, the 2nd star, comes out to eQuinelle to tryout the tour, tryout the course and uses this as a warmup for the Sun Scramble qualifer #4 at Hammond. Tony is swinging the sticks mighty sweet as he takes out 2 fellow B Slammers Robert Arnett and KidsClub and jumps up into the top 5 in the B division. In addition, Tony has 2 birds and takes home a skin. WELL DONE!! |
