So ... you all know what a Pommie is right? Hitting into the woods and having the woods kick it back out into play. Well, do you know what a "Gator" is? This new term was coined today and someone hopes it will catch on.

A "Gator" is a bad shot that turns out good. I'm not sure of the particulars other than it does not mean a Pommie. Maybe it's a worm-burner that just keeps running. Maybe it's a great kick from a bad lie. Anyway ... a "Gator" was born today (and was the first star)!

Summary
There seems to be a trend on the Slammer Tour. Rain man says rain is coming. Slammers don't show up. Rain doesn't come ... or it is welcomed as a misty spritzer to save us from the humidity. COME OUT AND PLAY! Six slammers were treated to amazing course conditions at the Canadian today! Tee-to-green, the course was in fabulous shape. Our two threesomes zipped around the course in less than 4 hours and enjoyed a cool one on the 19th hole. And did you notice that EVERYONE DEFENDED today? No upsets! I don't know if I've ever seen that! Thank you Canadian. Thank you playing partners. See you all soon...your OC --chill!
