MPC news Pouf wins Senior division ELITE EIGHT round match vs Pepilepu, to advance to the FINAL FOUR! Did you know that ELITE EIGHT senior division contains 7 Slammers that could be on Team Quebec for the Commish Cup?
KakiRipper win MPC Mxd B. This is year three for this division and they take down, the 2016 champs PukeyJ/Taz. Good luck in the final.
CLASS ACT - would be the first NOTABLE except we are supposed to report the MPCs first - Willy Woo wins his first dog in his first event, and only on his seventh hole ever as a Slammer. BUT WAIT - then he wins his second dog on only his 13th hole (yes - so far wins a dog on every second par three that he plays). BUT WAIT even more and here is the CLASSY part. He asks if he can donate his winnings to the Kids. "Of course you can." "Well the Tour allowed me to play free today - so here is the donation."
Starting on back nine meant hole ten fell first - there were three birdies. Pouf was one of those guys and his was the 150th of his career. Now we have 36 Slammers at that height where the soaring happens.
Next time you see Grumpy ask him how he started with an 8 (and YES SRR it included three whiffs).
Chip me in gets his 25th career dog, on our first par three played today (hole 12) and it was tight!
Three more join the Hole-in-one club (152 now). I am honourably mentioning (we don't do that anymore!) a few others that made the manual choosing of three stars difficult.-A few that were to be considered? Look to the right at the individual player stats and see the top six names. Three are stars and the other three could have all been chosen as well.
The latest Carleton member? Doog has just joined, and will be battling the likes of Cuba (& Pearls) and Woodsy in the near future!

Summary
We started on the back nine today following the Club Championships. Did I mention that GreyHawk had their Club Championships today? Well guess how many Slammers were approaching and wondering *who p1ssed off the guy putting out the flags this morning. The Ottawa Sun Scramble closes out their first rounds here on Friday. I hope that the fairways get some love and some of those GURs can have some healing. The only flaw in today's event otherwise as usual pristine course with great staff, from entrance to departure. Thank you MeekaGolf for those discount coupons!

	"Why does Grumpy keep calling him Piglet?" Well look at his doggy balls - he left two out there today. Slammer Tour is like the witness protection program and very few know their opponent's aliases. Well Mr Christopher Hogg has a mother and Mrs Hogg has children. While raising them (I didn't say in the sty Mom!), she called them her piglets and he is her baby! Back to golf - total matches vs Open player Chef? One! record? 1-0. That's right A34 took down O7. He did so ONLY on the 18th. He did it by leaving those two doggie balls and having two birdies. For the record Kaki will NOT call him piglet! He and Grumpy have never been to Shawinigan! wink wink wink

	3 0 76 3 1 30. Today was event #17 for this rookie of the year candidate. Have you met him yet? Played him? Seems quiet but he sure is loud when doing the JOB! Those numbers at the start of this are wins losses score birdies skins and bones today. His only previous match was to the OLD STINKER. Now he has taken down two formidable A players as well. Pouf stayed with him til the eighteenth but a bogey was not good enough for Pouf (was only +3 at the time). I am certain that they will have future matches. Did you go to McDonald's? wink wink wink

	One didn't have game, another's chipping was flubbing but the third? He was still crazy. B1 defended again - and how? They went down 4and2, 3and2, & 3and1. The opponents were only a combined one over on the first hole but did Stymie's birdie intimidate them? They will all be back to challenge him but he is NOW 19-2-2 against you three. Stymie thank you for the head's up! wink wink wink.
