Summary
A nice 9:30 start at one of the closest courses to the downtown core, Champlain. Champlain is in very good summer condition with receptive (watered) greens and fairways that run. This heat wave is still playing on the margins of attendance but the cart special through ClubEG makes playing here so very managable. The lowest price warmup bucket, the lowest price cart special, the lowest price regular Slammer event, the super hospitality at the Proshop and the 19th hole makes the regular Monday Champlain event a bargain and so enjoyable. Add in the regular Slammers who play Champlain Mondays along with the preceding amenities makes for a great way to start off your golf week. Your OC, KC!!

This high school teacher is enjoying his summer golfing and enjoying his time off. Great Slammer round today as he goes undefeated at 3-0-0. He registers 1 bird, takes home a skin, wins a dog and shoots a solid A score. He is playing so well that this high school teacher may graduate to the A division. Nicccccccce!! |
