Summary
So proud of these Slammers today! It was hot! Sweltering! And because almost every golfer in Ottawa seemed to converge on Pine View today, power carts were in short supply. Luckily, almost everyone got a cart (thank you, Pine View marshalls for driving some out as they came available)! In these conditions, including being surrounded by public golfers and a tournament, and playing the longest round probably recorded at Pine View by the Slammer tour (5+ hours), our Slammers had FUN! And lots of cold beverages on the 19th hole! And no heat stroke ... although it was touch and go for some! Sunday golfers (tomorrow) ... please don't forget to HYDRATE! Looking forward to more golf at Pine View in the coming weeks! It was in fabulous condition! .... chill---out

is da man! Going 3-0 shooting an OPEN score and grabbing 1 of only three skins (with 2 birdies), this young pup had a great day! Well done sir!
Smallpak
brought it today! Going 3-0 shooting an A score and carding a couple of birdies, SmallPak's short game is a pleasure to watch. It was my honor to be one of her stepping stones to the second star! :)
HELFM
played his 100th event today. Apparently it was the longest any active slammer has taken to get to 100 (17 years?). He did it in style going 3-0, getting a birdie and shooting a B score! Come back more often HELFM. And PS...ask him how he got his nickname. Hilarious!
