Summary
We were very lucky on Friday at Stittsville! We only got a bit of rain (although it poured during the after-match wrap-up) and we survived up to 90 km/hr wind gusts ... the windiest day I have ever played golf! We were typical Slammers that while not ignoring the tornado warnings blaring from our cell-phones, we continued to play on, keeping a wary eye to the north as it looked very bad. Our hearts go out to those in Dunrobin and other areas of the Ottawa region that were hit by tornadoes and devastating winds. Thank you to Stittsville for a very quick sub-four hour round! ~chill
