Summary
Day one done. We played a quick 9 holes on the 16th, followed by supper and the traditional meet and greet on the back patio - facing the ocean. Most had been up since 2am so by 11h30 - most had gone to bed to catch up on sleep to prepare for the following day's 8am tee time. We were greeted with open arms (as usual) by the staff at the course - Choppy, Victor, Edouardo, Jorge and of course Maria, our favourite cart girl. Every time I step foot here, I feel nothing but love and gratitude - Cuba is honestly our home away from home. See you tomorrow. Juice
